The Diploma of Tourism Management is a broad one year qualification in business management, with an emphasis on Tourism related business. Students are required to study 6 papers. All of these papers can be part of a New Zealand Diploma in Business if a student wished to continue for a second year.

- What is the entry requirement to apply for this course?
Academic requirement for Edenz Level 5 Diplomas are:
• Satisfactory completion of NZ High School or equivalent
• or aged 20 with relevant work experience
English requirement is:
• IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent)

- Which Tourism Management course stream is more suitable?
Generally, off-shore International students would attend daytime courses, which include additional English support, and Job Search Support. Evening courses are available for domestic students, and may be suitable for on-shore International students. There is no additional English or Job Search Support in the evening courses, and entry is at the discretion of the Head of Department.

To graduate, students must pass all 6 papers. Each paper will have a mixture of on-course assessment, and a final exam.
