  The Occupational English Test is similar to IELTS, but more focused on particular professions, such as Nursing.
   
• Business English
  All business subjects have specialized vocabulary, and this course introduces students to a range of business vocabulary and concepts. Currently taught in afternoon sessions only.

 IELTS or OET Exam Preparation

IELTS and OET examinations have a very specific format, and exam preparation classes ensures that students will not be surprised by what they find in an exam, and are well prepared to demonstrate their proficiency. Our teachers are highly experienced and are committed to inspire and motivate the students to develop the skills and strategies to become independent learners.

  A student would need to be of at least Upper Intermediate level.
   
• What is the structure of this course?
  
  
  Courses run in 12 week cycles, consisting of 23 hours per week, in 2 morning sessions, and one afternoon session. Plus 2 hours of activities on Friday afternoon.
   
• What is the content of this course?
  
  
  A strong focus is given to the requisite micro skills and strategies needed to deal with the variety of tasks within the Reading and Listening tests, and good quality academic writing. Speaking practice aims to give students confidence to be both fluent and accurate in their oral communication.

Students who wish to undertake business studies find it helpful to have some knowledge of business vocabulary, and concepts.

  Any student intending to continue into a business course, such as a Certificate or Diploma.

  There are 16 topic modules of one week each. Students can join at the beginning of any module.
